Babycakes: Day 29: Matchocolate →
Another matcha-chocolate hybrid today. This time it’s white chocolate, though, and a cheesecake!
So I made a chocolate crust at the bottom and filled it with the green tea batter.

Matcha powder is essentially green tea powder. One of the things I like about it is the versatility. My aunt makes this fantastic summer drink with matcha, honey, and tons of ice. I’ve eaten a lot of great desserts too, like the green tea lemon cookies at Spot and the green tea ice cream from EN Japanese; however, it’s hard to make a dessert with matcha without it tasting too grassy...
